When GOD wanted to create trees, HE spoke to the earth: \u201cLet the earth bring forth vegetation\u201d (Genesis 1: 11). When GOD wanted to create fish and other water creatures, HE spoke to the sea: \u201cLet the water teem with an abundance of living creatures\u201d (Genesis 1: 20). When GOD wanted to create all kinds of living creatures [birds and animals], HE spoke to the earth: \u201cLet the earth bring forth all kinds of living creatures\u201d (Genesis 1: 24). But when GOD wanted to create man [humanity], HE\u00a0talked to Himself. Then GOD said: \u201cLet us [as TRINITY] make man in our own image, after our likeness\u201d (Genesis 1: 26). Have you ever thought of this before?

\nBeloved parishioners, take note of these facts: If you take a fish out of the water, it will die. When you remove or uproot a tree from the ground, it will also die.\u00a0If you take away any creature from its natural environment without providing a similar abode, it will equally die. Likewise, when man is disconnected from GOD, he dies. Why? It is because GOD is our natural environment.\u00a0We were created to live in his presence.\u00a0We must be connected to Him because it is only in Him that life exists. Think about this; GOD without man is always GOD, but man without GOD is nothing. Let’s therefore stay connected to GOD, especially at this trial period of COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. <\/p>\n
Brothers and sisters, as we continue to observe all the precautionary measures given to us, let us keep praying for one another. I miss you all a lot. You are ever in my prayers and private masses. I feel your pains. I feel more pains celebrating my private Holy Masses without my loving parishioners. Let us remain always optimistic. Whatever happens is for our own good.<\/p>\n
This Sunday is \u201cPalm Sunday\u201d of the Lord\u2019s Passion. In my \u201cprivate mass\u201d with the Deacon, I will bless the palms. At 12.00 noon on Palm Sunday (April 5, 2020), blessed palms will be placed at the main entrance door of both churches (St. Mary Camden and Holy Family Huntingdon). Feel free to pick up one for your family. Whatever remains (if any) will be removed by Wednesday afternoon. Holy week celebrations will also be private (priest and deacon only). Feel free to enjoy the Holy Week activities at EWTN live or any of the stream masses of your choice. <\/p>\n
